Food is awesome! The waiting staff is super friendly, but darn it.......my salad came without the dressing (ranch), I Informed them, and they were going to bring it right out, and half way through my sandwich, still NO ranch dressing for my salad. Ugggg! I'm not sure what happened. I was Informed that the cup of dressing was supposed to be on the side.
It was a little frustrating, because this is similar situation to what happened to me the first time I ate there.
Ive been to their other restaurant in La Mesa, and NEVER had a problem! -

WAS NOT EXPECTING MUCH, BUT...
I am not from Lakeside and rarely go there, but this Sunday we were looking for the local watering hole. Searches kept sourcing "eastbound" as the place to go. I thought it was a typical bar, but it was so much more.
The place was quite full! Food was flying around, drinks for everyone, nice music, and plenty of TV screens.
This is more of a restaurant/grill than a bar. Turns out it is a neighborhood favorite. The prices are VERY reasonable.
Also the menu for food was loaded. Lots of healthy options. I could probably go there 10 times and not even try all of the menu. To be continued, but needless to say this place puts TGIFridays, Chilis, and Applebees, combined, to shame. -

New to the area, came in once for dinner (carryout) and ordered pizza. They were out of pizza boxes and Jordan said, "hey, I need to show you something it's really jenky, but I promise it's good" it was the pizza strewn into sandwich boxes, which his killer blue eyes totally made up for the fact my pizza was stuck together. The pizza was still delicious and I kind of recommend that they always use sandwich boxes as pizza boxes, unpopular opinion I'm sure.
Fast forward to today, we came back wanting breakfast and Ryan was on top of it! He got us our drinks and our waitress got our food order ASAP. Good thing we live right around the corner because we will be visiting more frequently. The food and drinks are on point.
I'm going to add that it's not fair management is this good looking here, honestly that's the only downfall here. It's distracting. But five star for sure all around ;) -

3 stars . Needs more meet, cheese is really good, now the bread is not my taste . Is just different.

Love this place great food. its hard to find parking and sometimes the wait to be seated can be awhile, but its definitely worth the wait.
